Our Journey
About The Founder
Raj Kumar Prasad has a rich history in the pharmaceutical industry that began in 1965. He started as a supplier to medicine retailers, and over the years, he expanded his business to include retail shops, partnerships, and marketing companies. He has always been dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable medicines to customers.
One of his notable achievements was the launch of his first brand of Vitamin B complex syrup in 1987, despite manufacturing discontinuation. He continued to explore new opportunities, including the purchase of bulk drugs from Kolkata and the expansion of his business to include generic medicines from Mumbai.
In 1992, he launched the first Calcium Injection and formed a partnership to manage the sales of generic medicines in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar state, further expanding his reach in the industry.
In 2002, he started Birani Pharmaceuticals, a marketing company focused on calcium and vitamins in the pharma market. The company emerged as an expert in these areas, catering to the North part of India with the launch of Hematinic Syrup and the inclusion of the old product Recalvit Injection.
